Where did we start from?

News headline: Scotland: South Africa - severing the tiesSEAD’s official launch took place at the Netherbow Centre in Edinburgh’s Royal Mile in 1978. By November, SEAD held its first conference – ‘Scotland, Multinationals and the Third World‘. This conference began our practice of bringing people from different backgrounds together, with delegates including politicians, trade unionists, academics, and representatives from churches, businesses and the community.
